Shenzhen-based Atomic Rebuild has secured a new Series A funding round from Junke Danmu and Cornerstone Capital, marking its second financing in just six months. The fresh capital will be used to accelerate product R&D and expand into global markets.

Founded in January 2025, Atomic Rebuild is a newcomer to the consumer 3D printing scene, but its team is stacked with robotics engineers and 3D printing veterans. More than 60% of its workforce are R&D engineers, bringing deep expertise in both product design and scalable manufacturing.

World’s First 12-Nozzle, 36-Color Consumer 3D Printer

Atomic Rebuild is preparing to launch its first flagship product in Q4 2025: a smart 12-nozzle 3D printer capable of printing in up to 36 colors and 12 materials with precision.

The breakthrough lies in its rotary nozzle library design, inspired by the tool-changer system of CNC machines. Unlike traditional “single extruder swap” models from companies like Prusa or Snapmaker, this architecture integrates multiple nozzles in one system, dramatically improving:

  • Color/material switching speed

  • Material compatibility

  • Waste reduction during filament swaps

This engineering feat balances size, cost, nozzle count, and expandability, effectively miniaturizing an industrial-grade solution into a desktop consumer printer.

Setting a New Standard in Consumer 3D Printing

No other competitor has attempted a similar solution so far. Interestingly, after Atomic Rebuild unveiled its prototype, Chinese rival Bambu Lab announced its own “Vortek” hot-end switching system—a sign that multi-nozzle and multi-material printing will soon be the industry’s new battleground.

Beyond hardware, Atomic Rebuild is also refreshing its filament cartridges, feeding system, slicing software, and content ecosystem. The company plans to unveil more details at launch.

Building a 3D Printing Growth Flywheel

CEO Liu Bin believes consumer 3D printing is on the edge of massive growth:

Personal manufacturing holds enormous potential. Our vision is to create a growth flywheel built on hardware, consumables, and digital content. Over time, we’ll expand our product lineup, build a strong user community, and foster co-creation between users and designers.

With its ambitious hardware innovation and fresh funding, Atomic Rebuild is positioning itself as one of the most disruptive players in the next generation of consumer 3D printing.
